Hello!*

Hey everyone! It has been a while since my last post so I just wanted to let ya'll know what we've been up to!

It has been a busy week for both David and I, or at least it seems that way. I think with all the high school/middle school students out it automatically means a lot more business at Apple and Target. The other day we were both exhausted after work because there were so many customers coming in. At Target that means more people trying on clothes (which means more to hang up/put away), more people calling in (which means I have to constantly be answering the phones and answering questions. The other day I had SIX people calling me at the EXACT same time. Talk about stressful), and more people purchasing things (meaning I have to help backup cashier). It is always challenging when it gets busy, but it makes time go faster and keeps us all on our toes. I know David has had a really busy last couple of days too. I can't really explain all that he does since sometimes I don't even know what he is up to at work. However I do know that we are both looking forward to our next days off. Haha.

Other than work, we have been able to hang out a couple times this week which is always good! :) David's best friend Joel's birthday was Friday night and so Joel and his wife Danelle, Andrew and his wife Tori, and David and I all met at the Macaroni Grill for dinner. Yum yum yum. It was so much fun hanging out with all of them, although it was my first "official" time meeting Joel and Danelle. It is so funny to get those boys together though. Any combination of David, Max, Andrew, Joel or Pat is bound to be an interesting and hilarious experience. :) I got to hear all sorts of stories from the boys' past which makes me laugh and laugh. I can't wait for David to meet more of my friends too so he can be the one hearing the crazy stories of my adolescence. Not that I was too crazy or anything. :)

Last night David took me out on a date :) The whole thing was a surprise though. He texted me on his lunch and asked if he could take me out and of course I said yes. But then when he got over to my house to pick me up, he would not tell me where we were going. As we got closer to our destination he made me cover my eyes and keep them shut as he led me to the entrance of the restaurant. When I opened my eyes we were standing right outside of P.F. Changs. YUM! We had a bit of a wait until our table was ready so we walked around talking and eventually stopped by the Bridgeport movie theater which is right next to P.F. Changs. We have been really good about seeing new movies lately so we were definitely torn on what to see next. We decided to wait and buy tickets later however, since we didn't know how long dinner would take, so we headed back towards Changs.

Our table was a cute little booth that was near the front of the resturaunt. However we were kind of on display. Like anybody who looked over had a direct look at David and I. Which I didn't mind, I think we're cute. :) But there was two gentleman that kept staring at us which was a little awkward. I don't mean that they would casually look over once in a while. They knew we saw them staring, and the two men would whisper and laugh to one another without breaking their glance at us. David and I decided we were becoming a target for two Mob men. or Mafia men. Whichever.  Luckily they left shortly after we were seated.

We had a very, umm, consistent waiter named Frank. He was a great guy, but very eager to talk to David and I. Actually, I think he was more eager to talk to David. Frank opened up to us about his life during his visits to our table that happened every four or five minutes. He told us that it was his Uncle David's birthday the night before, that he is the same age as I am (19), goes to PCC but is transferring to PSU, is a business major and more. He did have great service though. Just a very odd experience. Great food though, and there was no one else I would have wanted to be there with.

After that, we decided to save our money and just head back to my house to watch a movie instead of paying for one. We ended up just watching the Food Network (David's favorite) and hung out. It was a great night, although I had a constant sore throat which is no fun and this morning I woke up with a stuffed up nose, the sore throat, no voice and a possible fever. Gross, especially since I have to work at 4:30. :(

Anyway I just wanted to say happy Saturday and I hope everyone is having a great weekend. David is working on writing out our story which I can't wait to read. He's noticing it is taking a lot longer than expected to write out though, which is to be expected because the spoken version of our story easily takes 30 minutes to tell. That is not an exaggeration either, haha.

Either way, I look forward to writing again! I am sure there will something fun to talk soon.
God bless!!
