Learning How To Grill.

I've been watching Food Network constantly trying to figure out how to make my food taste amazing. So tonight I went over to my best friend Max's house to celebrate his finals being over. We had some ground beef so we decided to make our own special burgers. First we made two thin patties with the beef and put garlic salt on both sides of the patties then put shredded cheese on top of one of the patties. Then we put the other patty on top of the cheese one. Pinching the sides we put them on a medium heated grill and closed the lid. I put some Sweet Baby Ray's on the top and on the other side once I flipped it later on. Having cheese in the middle requires some finesse in grilling it because you still need to get the pink out just right. So I turned the grill on low and flipped the burgers every few minutes so it wouldn't char too much. After about 10-15 minutes, we took the burgers off, put them on toasted buns and enjoyed. The cheese was perfectly melted and the juice from the burger was greasy and perfect. The only thing I regret is not having bacon.
