Hey everyone!! :) I hope today has been a good day for everyone who might be reading this. :) I have so much to say but since it is 1:20ish in the morning, I will probably just end up going to sleep soon. I still have to get used to the blogging thing so forgive me if this is boring or poorly written. Again, note the time. :)
I think one of my favorite things is random texts. Like waking up to a text or being in the middle of something and randomly getting a text. Especially when its from the one you love :). That is how I began this morning with a cute text from David before he went to work. David works at Apple and if you ask him about it, I'm sure he'll tell you how much he likes it. Hee hee. I am really happy though that he enjoys what he does. Obviously I do not think it is where he wants to be forever, but it is a great company and he's having a lot of fun, so for that I am thankful. Anyway, I finally finished organizing my stuff from school that has been piling up downstairs before I too had to get ready to go to work (I work at Target). Today was really exciting because I got promoted!! Whoo hoo!! :) I am now a Team Trainer instead of a normal Team Member. I don't know how big of a step it really is, but hey, I'm moving up. :)
My twin sister, Ali, left for Guam on Sunday. She's volunteering on a military base for the next ten weeks as a day camp counselor for the military kids of the island. I am really proud of her, but I must say, I miss her sooooo much. Praise the Lord David came with my family to the airport or I would have been even more of a mess. It was awful saying goodbye to her but she called tonight!! Although it was midnight our time, (which was 5:00 pm in Guam) I didn't care and I screamed and danced around just to hear her voice. Her and I then went on to Skype (praise the Lord for technology) for 45 minutes and instant messaged for a while thereafter. :) I She is also updating her blog (www.miss-allison-joy.blogspot.com) if any of you are interested in seeing how she's doing.
I also got to talk to David a lot today which is awesome. I must say we have been really spoiled seeing each other as much as we have. This week I think will be the least amount of times we have seen each other just because we both have to work a lot this week. Which is bitter sweet I guess. I am thankful we both have jobs though, especially right now in the economic crisis.
He called me on his lunch and told me that he started writing out "our story" today!! I can't wait to read it!! He won't let me though until its finished, but he did read me the introduction tonight and it makes me want to read the rest of it even more. He's an amazing writer. It's funny because even though I was there and I know the story, hearing it from him makes me so happy. I guess its because I know how I thought and felt, but not what he was....until now! :) Hee hee. I can't wait to read it! I hope you are all as excited as I am, because I am not kidding when I say it's one of the best love stories everrrrrr!!
Another exciting thing that has happened lately is that David's niece Emersyn started crawling for the first time the other day! She's nine months old and the cutest baby I have ever seen. Seriously. I often tell Ali that I am going to steal her. I won't, don't worry, but she is adorable. David's sister Patti (Emersyn's mom) has a really cute blog that you should check out if you are interested www.brettandpatti.blogspot.com
Alright everyone, it's nearly 2 am, so I have to go to sleep now. I will try and write again tomorrow. I think the next task for David and I is to each write a short biography. Then we won't seem so random haha. :) Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams and I'll talk to you later!
