Ali and I
Kat and I
Patti, Brett and Emersyn
Hey everyone! I don't have too much time to write because I have some stuff I need to do before I leave for work but I just wanted to post this really fast because it is something that is on my heart. I have to say that family is one of the most important things in the world. I know that's a really obvious statement, but I read a post by both my sister Ali and David's sister Patti, and I realize that him and I are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing group of people.
David's family consists of his dad Kevin, mom Sue, sister Patti, brother-in-law Brett and niece Emersyn. I have to say I have got to know all of them pretty well and I can honestly say that David is extremely blessed. Patti and I get along really well and I am so thankful that we have become such good friends. I look up to her I think more than she realizes and I look forward for our friendship to grow. :) Of course I think David's parents are amazing, they always keep me laughing. Brett is awesome too, he always says things that makes me laugh!! And of course Emersyn. The.Cutest.Baby.EVER. I am not kidding. She's amazing. I am so happy I have been able to watch her grow. The entire Green/Jensen group is incredible.
My family is amazing too! My mom Susie and dad Jeff would do anything for their girls. I am one of three daughters (I'm the middle child by about a minute or so... haha) Kat is my oldest sister who just turned 23 last week. I am so proud of Kat and all she is doing and has done with her life. Her boyfriend Alex is pretty much family too. He makes me laugh and laugh and I am really really excited that David and Alex have got along so well. They have been able to bond and have "guy time" which includes fishing together and making breakfast for each other. Haha oh gosh. I would also have to thank Alex for introducing David to oysters...they smell disgusting and literally look like someones waste, but hey, the boys like 'em so I'll go with it. And then there's my twin sister Ali who I would do anything for. Not saying I wouldn't for Kat but for some reason I always feel super protective of Ali. Ali is hands-down my best friend, but it's on such a different level than that of a normal friendship. We have always been close and I am so blessed to have that friendship with her. She makes me so proud.
I just wanted to stop and address how important I believe family is, and praise God that David and I have been blessed with these people. They are all so different and unique but we ALL share a love of life, a love of family, and most importantly, a love for God.
David and I love you all so much. Thank you for supporting us, encouraging us and influencing us. But mostly just thank you for just being who you are. Crazy, funny, too-loud-at-times, family. We couldn't ask for anything better. :)
Jen
